Deine spannenden Aufgaben als Head of Network Engineering:
In dieser strategisch zentralen Rolle übernimmst du die Gesamtverantwortung für unsere globale Network- und Security-Landschaft. Du gestaltest technologische Zielbilder, führst unser Network Engineering Team und treibst die Transformation hin zu modernen, skalierbaren Architekturen aktiv voran. Deine Aufgaben umfassen unter anderem:

Gesamtverantwortung für die Network- & Security-Strategie auf Enterprise-Ebene
Strategische Weiterentwicklung der Netzwerk- und Security-Architektur (Cloud, Zero Trust, SASE)
Definition, Bewertung und Weiterentwicklung von Architekturrichtlinien und technischen Zielbildern
Fachliche Bewertung strategischer Technologieentscheidungen inkl. langfristiger Auswirkungen auf Stabilität, Sicherheit, Skalierbarkeit und Kosten
Führung des gesamten Network Engineering Teams inkl. Teamstrategie, Zieldefinition und Talententwicklung. Das Team umfasst ca. 20 Mitarbeitende in Ahaus, Brno & Remote
Verantwortung für Budget-, Ressourcen- sowie CAPEX/OPEX-Planung
Steuerung komplexer Transformations- und Modernisierungsprogramme
Aufbau und Etablierung globaler Governance-Strukturen
Enge Zusammenarbeit und fachlicher Austausch auf Augenhöhe mit Principal Engineers und externen Partnern
Kommunikation, Entscheidungsfindung und Reporting an den CTO auf C-Level-Ebene

Dein Profil als Head of Network Engineering:

Erfahrung: Mehrjährige Erfahrung in leitender Funktion im Bereich Network & Security in komplexen Enterprise-Umgebungen
Fachliche Expertise: Ganzheitliches Verständnis moderner Netzwerk-, Security- und Cloud-Architekturen sowie domänenübergreifender Architekturprinzipien
Strategische Kompetenz: Fähigkeit, technologische Trends kritisch zu bewerten und deren Relevanz und Nutzen für das Unternehmen einzuordnen
Leadership: Nachweisliche Erfahrung in der Führung größerer Teams/Organisationseinheiten, sowie im Transformationsmanagement
Kommunikation: Souveräne Executive-Präsenz und ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeit auf C-Level
Arbeitsweise: Unternehmerisch, strukturiert, entscheidungsstark und vorbildlich im Handeln
Sprachen: Deutsch und Englisch verhandlungssicher

Ahaus | Overall strategic responsibility for network & security | Reporting to the CTO

Your exciting tasks as Head of Network Engineering:

In this strategically central role, you will assume overall responsibility for our global network and security landscape. You will shape technological target visions, lead our network engineering team, and actively drive the transformation toward modern, scalable architectures. Your tasks will include, among others:
Overall responsibility for the network and security strategy at the enterprise level
Strategic development of the network and security architecture (cloud, zero trust, SASE)
Definition, evaluation, and further development of architecture guidelines and technical target visions
Technical evaluation of strategic technology decisions, including long-term impacts on stability, security, scalability, and costs
Leadership of the entire network engineering team, including team strategy, goal definition, and talent development. The team comprises approximately 20 employees in Ahaus, Brno, and remote locations
Responsibility for budget, resource, and CAPEX/OPEX planning
Management of complex transformation and modernization programs
Development and establishment of global governance structures
Close collaboration and technical exchange on an equal footing with principal engineers and external partners
Communication, decision-making, and reporting to the CTO at C-level

Your profile as Head of Network Engineering:

Experience: Several years of experience in a management position in the field of network and security in complex enterprise environments.
Technical expertise: Holistic understanding of modern network, security, and cloud architectures as well as cross-domain architecture principles.
Strategic competence: Ability to critically evaluate technological trends and classify their relevance and benefits for the company.
Leadership: Proven experience in leading larger teams/organizational units, as well as in transformation management
Communication: Confident executive presence and strong communication skills at C-level
Working style: Entrepreneurial, structured, decisive, and exemplary in your actions
Languages: Business fluent in German and English
